Default 99 blazer alarm problem,heeelp

hello,i've got a problem with the alarm on my 99 blazer,
the slightest gust of wind and of it goes,i believe its the factory alarm,
it seems very sensative, is there anything i can do to decrease the sensativity of it.
i live in the uk and this is my first american truck and its absolutely brilliant, even the wife loves it, which is a plus,
just need a bit of help
thanks.

if it is the factory alarm i know in the north american models there is a little black box in the bottom of the dash around the brake pedal that has an adjustment on it you can try that. its covered up by all the plastic which you gotta remove.

HI, I have been told that the UK models had a different alarm system to the US ones and most were disconnected due to problems. Also the mobilizer is different in usage. I assume you have a RHD model. Do you have to use the remote to switch the immobilizer off?

My Blazer seems to have had the alarm part of the system disconnected or removed before I had it, just the immobilizer left. Have had mine about three years now and have sorted quite a few things on it. Mine is also LPG, had it converted just after buying it.
