Default 99 Blazer Multifunction Switch, Turn Signal Relay

We have a 99 Blazer (we have two in fact). On the son's Blazer, we were getting the turn signal clicking sound around Nov/Dec, 2018 and all the lights would go out or dim out. It also caused the brake lights to go out. Husb changed the 'Turn Signal Relay' and that didn't fix anything. Two weeks later, he changed the 'Multi Function Switch' and it seemed to fix 98% of the problem. Occasionally, the dash lights would "blink out". The problem has started up again (minus the turn signal clicking). Do you think either of the relays went bad again, did replacing the Multi Function Switch after replacing the Turn Signal Relay, burn out the Turn Signal Relay or could there be a bad ground somewhere?
Any thoughts, tips, ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
