99 blazer service 4wd light
My "service 4wd light" just came on this morning, and on my buttons for 2wd the light isnt on either. Im pretty sure it is still in 2wd. I know that I already have a bad multi functional switch, could this be just an electrical problem or something actually wrong with my 4wd?

If the 'service 4wd' light is on, then the best way to get to the bottom of the problem is to get the TCCM scanned for codes. This requires the use of a full feature scan tool that is capable of accessing the serial bus connected devices in your truck so getting it done for free at Autozone/Advanced/etc is likely out of the question.
You can pull the connection to the TCCM & check it for corrosion and test out the wiring at the switch, TCCM, and encoder motor on the transfer case. The NV236 tech article has the wiring info.

Cat Fish Knut; Is this still an issue? I'm interested in what you found.
