i have a set of GM Factory Headlights for a 2014 Terrain, i may do some experimenting with the HID lenses in there since being OE factory units they have a really good beam as is and there are drop in LED upgrades that work with stock wiring.
Newer GM OEM headlights are a bear to separate... I did a set for a buddy's Silverado, full HID projector retrofit. They came out great, but it was NOT easy to get the lens off... GM uses a different type of glue that doesn't soften when heated up like the sealant that everyone else uses...

Good thing the lenses are cracked to high hell then! They were on a vehicle that had a frontal offset crash at low speed, and then later totaled at 80 mph into a forest, The Square body terrains are extremely good rigs, as i learned.
Honestly I've been lazy, haven't touched them since the last update post... Been back to work during the week, and working on other projects on the weekend, haven't really had much time to mess with them.
But the one that's mocked up in the photos above is teasing me, sitting on my desk beside my computer...
It sort of halted during recent events. Intake gaskets let loose, then a week later my radiator split open, so I've just been focusing on those lol.
But I really need to get them done and installed... As the truck sat for 2 weeks while I hunted down a new lower intake to replace my cracked one, my original driver's side projector retrofitted light turned into a fish bowl lmao. I drilled a little hole in it for now to get by :P
