I bought this 2002 blazer 4wd about a year ago, it came with a remote which only locked and unlocked the doors. Turns out if you stand next to 2700 degree metal with the remote on a d-ring it doesnt last long, who knew? So im wondering two things, is it possible to have another remote made, and is there any way to tell if there was an alarm installed originally on the blazer and can a new remote be matched up to make it work? There is a led on the dash which an indicator for an alarm, but its never lit up.
