Question 94 S10 Blazer Gauge lights out?

Yesterday on the way to work, my gauge lights went out on my 94.
Did a search but way too much to look through.
How hard is it to put in new gauge bulbs?
Thanks...

Exclamation procedure for removing the instrument gauge cluster for whatever reason

I was reading another blazer forum regarding another problem I'm having with the digital gauge cluster not lighting up on the right side... and came across this page that explains how to remove and replace the digital cluster with an analog. lucky for you its the same procedure to replace bulbs (up to step 12) check it out. this is all the info you need.

heres the link.

the bulbs are cheap and simple 12v bulbs you can buy 5 for a dollar. they sit in a plastic housing that twists into the PCB on the back of your cluster. btw if you go to your LPS (local parts store) or the dealer looking for direct replacement bulbs, you may end up paying one arm and one leg for them. i think i found a good deal at autozone but i am sure the dealer would want $30 a bulb. worst comes to worst i was going to go to radio shack or true value, buy the bulk bulbs of the same size/voltage and simply solder them into the plastic twisty thing, install them in the cluster and reassemble the whole thing.

good luck.

Default

Just an update, it was the trailer harness at the rear bumper that had a bare wire.
Taped it up and now I have running lights and dash lights.
Thanks for the help...
