Alternator Wiring Fail...What to do now?

Default Alternator Wiring Fail...What to do now?

i've been having a huge problem.my dad was putting on a alternator on my 97 blazer and accidentally put the black and red wires on the same nut on the back of the alternator. i started the truck and drove it in my back yard and now when i go to start it now nothing happens i have no power at all any where and i have had the alternator battery and starter checked and everything was good besides the starter and a got a new one.can some one please tell me what to do to get the power back flowing through my 1997 4.3 blazer if possible email me royalkingz1845@gmail.com

kingefe, You need to go to the electric section or tech. help and start your own new thread. Nobody will see you here. Sounds like a wire, fuse or fusable link blew somewhere.
