Ampf fuse?

Ampf fuse?
Snooping around the interior fuse box after a head unit install and came across a fuse called AMPF. its near the center of the pack. What does it do? Looked in the manual but Chiltons arent worth the paper theyre printed on.

Well.. after going through several pages of your previous posts to determine you are indeed talking about a 1999.. here's my conclusion:
IP fuse #20 is for the OE premium sound system amplifier.
Just like it says in your owners manual. Which is available at
GM Extended Warranty the direct GM Protection Plan (GMPP) source.
if you dont have one.
