i guess,everything normal other then the typical fast blinking/bad bulb deal.

I really think the issue is the socket... You can always swap the relays from your dads truck to yours . LOl

Edit: makes me wonder when the blinker is solid (on the cluster) do you hear the click sound? does the passenger side operate normally?

I dont think its the relay, either a problem with the bulb or the socket. Check and make sure there is not a piece of metal inside of the socket from the old bulb that is connecting causing it to short out.

Clicking is there. It only stays solid when the headlights are on,and while its solid the light its self is off until i engage the turn signal then it turns on as normal,but still clicks fast.

checking for crap in the socket was the first thing i did.

I believe the dash light will be on solid to indicate that a light is burned out. A fast blinker indicates a lower load (burned out bulb). Do all the other lights work 100% work, like the 1157's?

Whats burnt out tho ??? If either front or back was blown he would get the Hyper flash ... I think im missing something tho.

No luck at all gio. Jason i replaced everything (every bulb from the rear) and tested them all while the housings were removed. All my outside bulbs work. Thats why im so confused on why its still blinking fast.

Sounds like a broke wire.... well almost broke wire maybe.
