Default Auto dimming mirror

Second post here as a newbe, Got a auto dimming mirror for my 02LS and it was either on here or on S10 forum that I read that there is a plug for the mirror under the dash for the mirror to plug into instead of running a country mile of wire to hook it up. If this is correct where under the dash would the plug be located? If not what is the easiest hookup/route to wire it up?

If there is no harness at your current mirror, you will have to run it all yourself using a connector/harness from a donor vehicle.

The auto dimming mirror only requires power and ground to function. If you want the dimming to disable while in reverse, you will need a third wire to the backup switch circuit.
