Default Battery wiring harness

Hello,
I had my battery stolen out of my 97 blazer. Snipped all the wires. Now I'm stuck with trying to figure out what wires go to pos and neg. Ive tried once already and got a bit of sparking. I didn't want to cause any damage so I thought I would ask a pro for some help. Any diagrams or helpful insight would be appreciated. Thanks
