KerbyG, chill, they're just bulbs. The truck isn't riced out, one single headlight upgrade doesn't make the whole thing tacky. You have made your point, move on.

Thanks for the tips everyone. The bulbs seem to be flickering a bit and had 8000K recommended with higher wattage ballasts so, I may refund for that. Either that or maybe some 12000K's as I'm getting the impression that will earn KerbyG's respect

Stick on hood scoops. That's all I'm going to say.

Spend your money well, HID Kits | Aftermarket Headlights | HID Conversion | KBcarstuff.com Dont waste your money on a higher watt ballast.. All HID bulbs are made for 35w ballasts... so putting 55w into the bulbs shortens the life of the bulb like crazy.

I have a kit from xenon depot, the warranty, customer service, bulb color is all spot on, all VERY well built. Best money I have spent.

Also, Kerby, we really get it, Time to end it, Thank you.

Well KerbyG, Id like to invite you over here to pull off those scoops for me as they were on the truck before I bought it so, since you're so passionate about unimportant things and dragging dead cats around, perhaps you can come remove them for me so both of us can sleep at night. What do you say?

Richphotos, thanks for the mature reply, its appreciated. Do you think its best to stick with the ballasts i have then? Is it a significant amount of life lost with 55's? Cheers

For the money that is being payed for HID's.. it effects it enough.

You really do not get that much more light out of a 55w vs a 35w. Stick with 35w and have them last much longer.
