Default Big Metal Fuse in "A" Position Melted

I have a strange situation. I was driving one day and smoke began to pour out of my drivers side fuse box. I pulled over and turned off the engine and the smoking stopped, however, the big aluminium fuse in the "A" Slot had been destroyed. Since then strange things have been happening... my locks don't work, wipers worked for a while, but the radio did not. I could get the radio to turn on by turning on the wipers and waiting. Now the radio turns on but the wipers only do sometimes. When I turn the wiper control all the way up the radio goes off.

I've attached a photo for reference. Any direction on what may have caused this, how to fix it, or whatever. I just want normal electrical again.
