Default Blinker Noise Drives Me Crazy!!

Ok, so my blinker noise doesn't turn off. It stops when I turn the truck off, but when I turn it on it makes the noise. The actual blinker light doesn't come on though. Sometimes the noise stops or happens very rapidly. Please help me with this because it drives me and my passengers insane.

Try the blinker relay first, I believe yours is located behind the glove box.

I think we may have already tried replacing that. We replaced something and the blinker sounds slightly different from before, but the problem is still there

Then next up would be the multifunction lever/hazard switch (I believe that is all one unit on your truck)

If replacing the blinker relay didn't work, it may be your turn signal lever on the steering wheel. I had the same issue and installed a new turn signal lever...problem solved. There's a thread on here that I followed and did it myself.

That is definitely the multifunction switch in the column. Had same problem, resolved it when replaced.

3rd person, looks like its time for a new multi function switch.

If the relay did not work ,the only thing that would really cause that is the multifunction switch.

i would check RockAuto Parts Catalog or Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more for the best prices on one of those.

There are discount codes on this site for rock auto somewhere

When i bought mine there was a constant clicking and an ABS code for brake light circuit malfunction. There was not an abs light. Replacing the multifunction switch repaired it.

there is also the repair for the hazard button, in some cases that is the culprit, not the intire mulifuction unit.. the hazard button pulls straight out... there is a thread on here also about that and also on s10 blazer site
