Blower motor resistor
I'm going to replace my blower motor resistor again today as my fan has stopped working. I am doing this about every six months now in my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. Once I replace the resistor and the fan. I get no air blowing from anywhere at any speed. My model has the automatic temperature controls for driver and passenger. I have found nothing in the Forum life my issue. As soon as I replace the blower motor resistor it will work just fine again. By chance does anybody have any idea why my blower motor resistor keeps failing?

From what you wrote it is not clear if you have been replacing the blower motor too.
I'd check that your replacement parts are compatible; i.e. that the blower motor is not different for thr Computer Climate Control sytems. If the temperature control module is acting up, be sure to get a quality part. You might even try to get one from a wrecking yard as these seldom go bad.
I did replace the blower motor once, sorry if I missed that detail. It is indeed the correct part and make sure when I order it To select the one with auto temperature control. I have bought several brands in case one brand was poor quality. Thank you for your assistance.
