A/C ground

A/C ground
Good evening all. My 06 TB a/c blows hot air! I took it to a mechanic, the compressor works, the clutch engages and relays work but no air. They filled the system which does not leak. They put it on the hoist and found wires dangling near the compressor. Still no cool air. A pigtail was used to connect the wiring. They told me: there's no ground signal as they run diagnostics. they seem lost and are now checking the dashboard wiring and the temperature controls. Does ANYONE have positive input/solutions/ideas or what to look for? Thank you for your help!!

"They filled the system which does not leak"
Wrong.
Its called a Sealed System for a reason. Sealed means " if in needs gas added its leaking"
" they seem lost"
Agreed, no idea what theyre doing.
If the clutch works theres ground. Any electrical problem may be an air distribution problem. The system may be blowing air thru the heater core instead of the AC evaporator ( the AC coil in the case on the firewall)
The AIR will be HOT if it's coming from the HEATER CORE.
if not the air will be the same temp as ambient.
Time for a new shop.
Any competent AC tech will check charge, see the clutch turning and also compressor ( and not making any odd noises!) Then if theres no cooling then theres a system restriction or damper door not working. If the clutch doesnt run, jump the accumulator or low side switch.
Persons that don't understand electrical systems are often quicken to blame " grounds". Beware!
