Default Can I disable my alarm without losing my keyless?

on my 2000 blazer I have the keyless entry with a panic button on the remote. I am constantly hitting the panic button when the keys are in my pocket. It is extremely annoying when it goes off at work or in my driveway. I have no desire to use an alarm, but I want to keep the keyless. Is it possible to just disable the alarm?

Now I am not sure about this, but how are you at electronics? you could just pull open your remote, and unsolder the button for the panic from the keyfob?

that is what I thought to do. However, the buttons are printed on the board and the actual rubber part that you push has some sort of peice on it that closes the connection when you push it (Just like a playstation controller). I put a peice of tape over the connections on the board so that it can close the connection.

ooohhh one of those kind. I hope the piece of tape worked out for you. I always hated panic buttons.

when I tried it my remote stopped working completely. I removed the tape and now only the panic button works. So nobody do what I did.
