Sorry for the late reply but what am i looking for when i wiggle my keys? Sorry if that sounds dumb but i dont know what to look for i tried turning the key off and on but still nothing.

Thanks for that link man. i did follow it. Thats another reason why i think its the ignition switch.

I agree with chesty puller I have seen way too many ignition switches go bad in these dang things I've also seen all different kind of symptoms it went along with it, I'm a firm believer in big k.i.s.s philosophy. I have seen symptoms go from hard starts to no dash lights 2 transmission codes.

ignition switch i say it again. get one on amazon.com they have oem gm ones for 60$

Sorry for the late reply guys but thanks for all the help...i went out and got an ignition switch and will be putting it in this weekend...im getting kinda worried about doing the passlock i did some research found alot of threads with this procedure just wanted to know if anybody had any advice on this before i get wrenching thanks

Thanks so i wont have to worry about the passlock procedure if i disconnect the battery before i put the switch in?

P.s. i was gonna disconnect it anyways because of the airbag.

Sup guys got some bad news so i changed the ignition switch and still nothing happend everything is still the same. I checked all connections, fuses, battery terminals, grounds everything is good. I dont know what else to do really frustrated with this problem any help is appreciated thanks.
