i have a 01 blazer that is trying to start on its own, short of disconnecting the battery, how can i turn it off? i still need to drive it.

 

If you're saying that your truck has had an aftermarket remote starting kit installed, I say disconnect it. Locate the module, trace all the wires and unhook them. Most of the ones members have had installed just cause problems.
