Default Domelight & Radio Problem

I have a 98 blazer, recently i noticed the radio turns off when you turn off the ignition, (all doors & hatch closed) & the domelight stays on unless you hit the dome overide switch. Can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is? Thanks.

Probably the switch that senses when your doors are open/closed. try pushing on them with your fingers and see if you can narrow it down to one of them

I don't think my 96 Blazer has an override switch, but this may apply to your '98 anyway. If the open door switches all work, there might be a problem with a latch sensor indicating the door handle was pulled. The latch sensor turns on my dome light (courtesy light?) even when the door is closed. If the latch sensor is defective, the courtesy light(s) will stay on.

Swartlkk refers to this here https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...working-66331/
