Default Drivers side window problem

My driver side window stopped working - window is half way down.

When I depress the switch nothing happens.

All other windows work fine.

Any hints?

Have you pulled the door panel to check for proper power and ground to the window motor?

i have not used a voltage meter yet - we get a clicking sound when we depress switch to 'down' but only for a few seconds then it quits - no sound on 'up'

you need to check power at the motor.

sounds like the window motor died. they are around $60 at the parts store. comes with rivets and nuts and bolts for whatever way you want to mount the new motor. but you'll need to grind off the old rivets to ge the old motor out
