Drivers window & Rear windshield wiper

Drivers window & Rear windshield wiper [with video]
Hey guys, I just joined this forum...
I just bought a 2000 blazer too...
I had a couple of questions
1. My driver's side power window button --It only works sometimes and when I use it my dome lights decrease in lighting (suggesting power consumption)
however the window does not move until I take the cover off of the button control panel and pull it out and put it back in... I was wondering if it is a loose wire or not? (probably not, since the dome lights change, indicating increased power consumption) I just find it kinda odd that it works again after messing with the wires.
2. My rear windshield wiper only works when there is lubrication (example:
I try to clean my rear window by turning it on, and since it isn't wet to begin with it gets stuck before I get a chance to turn the windshield fluid on)
Opening and closing the trunk is a temporary fix for this, but it is unreliable... maybe loose wires? I don't think so though, since it appears to happen more often when there is too much tension between the window and the wiper blade.
I don't have the tools to check for voltage, maybe I could rent some.
Anyways, does anyone have this problem? any known fixes? or an explanation?
Thanks for your help.
LOL! maybe if I kept the key in the motor would have made noise, right!?
either way it still doesn't work!
