Ok...first off I have searched and I'll continue to do so.

I have a 2001 zr2 blazer. I tried cutting the yellow wire under the brake pedal...I actually cut a total of 3 yellow wires I found (one at a time) I also bent the pin on the relay in the fuse box under the hood. Nothing...

I'm at a loss. My goal is to shut off the DRL and do the quad beam mod. Please don't say "press the dome override button" I don't want to do that every time.

I would love to have my parking light on instead of the DRL. but that looks pretty involved and at this point I don't know if I can trust what I'm finding. I must be missing something. Please help. Thanks!!

Thanks, I came across that link. I got the Quad beam to work. I want to also get the DRL's off. I have read in most cases you can pick one or the other. ...but some have gotten both to work with a relay. I tried it once and didn't have any luck.

 

The last thing you need to do is start cutting wires. I could be wrong, and have been before, but some yellow wires go to your airbag system. You might wanna check and see where those wires went to.
