Question Electric fan temp switch in a 4.3 head

So I nabbed an Intrepid dual 2 speed fan and plan on installing it into my 04 4x4 while I have everything apart right now (see here), and I want to stick the temp switch to control the low speed into the passenger side head where the plug is.

*Does anyone have a part number for a temp switch that will thread into the head and work with a good temp rating, before I go to a parts store and just start trying to match one up?

*What is an ideal temp rating to look for? (I'm not sure what the thermostat's temp range is...)

I don't want to do the in-line with the upper radiator hose adapter thingy, trying to keep it as factory looking as possible...

So a little more web digging has lead me to this info:

FS1 -- 238 on - 222 off
FS3 -- 252 on - 240 off
FS4 -- 227 on - 211 off
FS6 -- 220 on - 204 off

FS# being a GP Sorensen part number, and the 3 digit numbers being the temperature where the switch kicks on and closes the circuit turning the fan on (the higher number) and then kicks off and turns the fan back off (the lower number)

also

PT770, which is apparently a pigtail for the switch but I can't find any info on it so we'll see...

Going to swing by the parts stores this afternoon and see if they can match them up, maybe have one in stock which would be awesome Wanting the FS6 for summer coming up here in Florida to keep it running a little cooler

So I ordered a FS4 style switch. The FS6 is like $40, where as the FS4 is literally half that. Picked up the pigtail for it too (they had that in stock). I don't think a 7 degree difference will be a big deal.

Question

does the same sensor report to the ecu, or is that another part?

There's a sensor on the drivers side head between the two rear exhaust ports that does that. On the passenger side head between the front two exhaust ports is a threaded in plug, that's where I plan on this sensor going.

Now I have to go look. I thought I had a sensor on the passenger side already. I may want to do this Mine is on with switched power.
