Angry Electrical

I have a 2002 ZR-2 series Blazer had a problem with the idea of whenever the lights are on the cruise control quits working it happened all at once gave no warnings I am not sure if this could be due to a brake light switch (which I replaced) and could just be in the adjustment for it (which I am not sure if this model even has an adjustment) or if it could be something else. being I can work on most older models but know very little about the new computerized vehicles I would have to say I am not much for being a mechanic so any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thanks

It seems it could be a defective turning signal/ Wiper/cruise control/Bright light headlight switch on the steering column.

it as well has a problem of when no lights are on if you hit the brake all the turn signal and dash lights come on and if the lights are on aka (running lights and/or headlights) the dash lights including the temp/compass over head go dim. Is this normal for a blazer to do?
