Fuel Pump no work
So first I want to say hello and thanks in advance for all the great knowledge and help. here's the deal, I have 94 S10 blazer, has been a great vehicle, just turned over 280,000. I have replaced a few things, most recent a fuel pump 2 months ago. I jumped in it at work, drove 30 miles, turned it off, went in house for 2 hrs and now it won't start. I don't hear the typical fuel pump energization on key turn. Thought was the pump again, but it tests fine. relays are original, oil pressure sw. is original. I have 8.5vdc at the connector to pump. Running out of ideas and could sure use the help. I wanna get her fixed, best vehicle I have owned.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Well it's alive again!!!! After much research, I found the problem, the oil pressure switch that is tied to the fuel pump relay was faulty, jumpered the orange and grey wires in the connector and she fired right up!!! Now the task of removing it. It couldn't be in a more outof the way location. Thanks for all input.
yup he has the cpi i would have to check the famous book chris loves so much
Edit: service manual says
disconnect plug then remove sensor
its located near the distributor (thats gonna be a tight one)
