Default Fuse Box wires.

I have some wires exposed outside of the wire cluster going to the fuse box. After changing the maf sensor, when the air box was reinstalled, the idle seemed to become more rough. Does anyone know what these wires are for and why they might be taken out?

What year is your truck?

Why did you replace the MAF sensor?

Are those wires coming from the back of the fuse box or from the wire loom heading towards the fuse box?

A MAF code only tells you that something is wrong with the MAF circuit - MAF, wiring, connectors, reference voltage, ground.

Since those wires are coming from the engine compartment on their way to the fuse box, do they look like OEM wires or an add on? follow that loom and see if those wire colors exit somewhere easy to see.

Based on the colour and size I'm pretty sure those are not factory wires. They're likely from something add-on. Brake controller, lights, alarm, remote starter, etc.
