fuses
hey, i have a 96 blazer and i have a fuse prob. turn and brake light fuse keeps blowing. why is this? can anyone help me this is my only ride. the fuse blow as soon as i put them in. plezz help!

a 12 v test light will work just fine for this and it's easier to read.
First, which fuse exactly and where?
You say you fuse blows immediately.. does that mean as soon as you install it or when you use brakes?
When you probe the top contacts of a blown fuse the light will light when the shorted circuit is activated.
Say, for example, the short is just past the brake switch.. have a helper press the brake and light would light.
If it lights with key off and no switch active then short is likely between the fuse and brake switch
