well changed out the pump only it did not need change.. I took it out of the tank and found the sending unit was in pieces.. not broken but rather it looked like someone changed the pump before and just rammed it into the tank and well... well it fell apart. I put it all back together and cleaned up the sending area with electrical cleaner, put it all back together and it works again.. no issues. sending unit apart.
