Open up the dash and make sure whatever spilled in there is cleaned up. Disconnect the negative battery cable and use electrical contact cleaner. Make sure everything is clean and tight then start the truck. Try to make it fail by wiggling different bundles of wire.

Ok Will do. Do you know of any other wire harness that is related to the gauges. And could there be a loose ground wire in the fuse block?

Try to focus your search around the area where your technical tap (smack) works best.
