Exclamation Headlight bulb removal? 97 Blazer 4x4 4dr

Hey guys so for the life of me i can not figure out how to remove the old headlight bulbs out, i don't have those tabs to pull up on and they are sealed headlights, i took the front grill of and still cant seem to figure it out. any help would greatly be appreciated. Also would like some advice on some bulbs that are not HID's but have that same look out of the halogen bulbs.
Thanks!

Grab the back of the bulb and they should rotate out carefully

Did you ever get an answer? Grabbing the bulb and rotating works but you have to get to the bulb first, right? I have the same problem. I found several online references to removing the grill and unscrewing "retaining screws" vs clips. Apparently 1997 & 1998 are goofy and removal is more difficult. I removed the grill and found two skinny bolts that look like they are retaining the assembly. They have 6-sided star shaped heads for which I don't have sockets. I tried pliers but that didn't work. They look a lot like headlight adjusting screws but I'm pretty sure those are up above the grill. Anyway, I gave up on that and removed the aluminum clips holding the lens on. It wasn't easy removing the bottom clips and I broke one of them in the process. Now I can 't find a replacement. I think this Blazer just really needs a stick of dynamite!

Just take the air box and the battery out to access both bulbs, fit your hand up the back of the headlight (between the headlight and core support), rotate the bulb untilit unlocks, and slowly wiggle the bulb out CAREFULLY. Instal is reverse of removal don't have to worry about taking the whole housing or grill off.

IIRC There are 3 or 4 bolts that hold the head light assembly in and you need a stubby open end to get to them. At least that's how it is on my 97. I also have the star drive bolts on mine and i believe they are for adjustment so don't touch them.

On a 97 with the composite blazer lights, there's 3 bolts on the front of the rad support (2 towards the top of the bracket, and 1 towards the radiator side of the bracket) and one on the back of the rad support. To completely take it off, you have to remove the air box, battery, and all 4 bolts.

i just watched a you tube video where the guy removed those long star headed bolts behind the headlight assembly and the headlight pulled straight out.

My repair manual says these are vertical adjustment bolts.

Now which one are they?
