Default Headlight Conversion Q's!

I have a 1995 s10 Blazer 4dr 4x4.

Name: 1.jpg
Views: 792
Size: 87.5 KB

NOWWW here is my issue. I have the stupid front end that has the 4x6 sealed beam headlights (H4666 or something like that) and I replaced them with some H4 wannabe "projector" headlights and an HID kit.

(THese are VERY similar to the headlights I bought)

These things SUCK. The HID's are super dim because the light is scattered so far.

What I want to know, is what replacement sealed beam headlight conversions would be best to use with HID's???

Any links or pictures would be good too.

THANK YOU.

Your best bet would be taking the housings you have now, cutting them up and putting in some projectors from The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications check their forum, lots of helpful info HiDplanet : The Official Automotive Lighting Forum

That does seem like my best bet... But is it really as complicated as it seems???

I mean, it looks pretty legit, because they are legitimate projectors. But how do they actually go into the light fixture?!

Lots of quality epoxy unless you want to have them bounce out of adjustment all the time or leak.

The only confusion I have with Retrofit, is how do they stay onto the housing???

You can epoxy them in, or you can make some custom brackets so that you can adjust the aim on them.

Ok... how about to completely seal up the headlights so condensation does not happen???

Possibly bondo, or fiberglass????

Epoxy is the sealer, sure you can paint the plastics and bondo or glass the whole thing.
