Hello all, I have 1999 blazer 4.3 running fine but the issue I have is a deer wanted to commite suicide one nite going to work and crashed my drvr.side healdlights and grill no body damage , my issue is now after installing new grill and headlights my drvr. side headlights is real weak and my pass. is real bright. I have changed bulbs and no difference, how or where can I get a diagram to see how to remove headlight harness and install new one if needed.Or is there some method of tracing down the problem?

The headlights on the 98+ non-ZR2 trucks have very weird wiring; to facilitate the DRL function on the high beam bulbs the bulbs are powered in series. Sounds like one of the wires to the driver side bulb is not getting proper ground when in parallel operation.
For a schematic, search "headlight+schematic" in the "2nd Gen Tech" section with an author of "swartlkk" (without the quotes, but keeping the '+'). The schematic for a '99 is identical to that found in a '00 or '01 according to my references.
