Default Headlights Wiggle - Is This Normal?

My friend just purchased a 2002 ZR2 Blazer with 65K on it and the headlights wiggle around like a couple bobble heads. Is this normal? It was involved in a frontal crash in which the air bags deployed, but was repaired before he purchased it. I just wondered if something is missing from behind the headlights that is supposed to hold them in place. It looks like only springs hold them in place. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pop the hood and look at the rear of the headlight housing. You should see a long tab on each end that slides down through a slot on the back of the housing. These must be correctly inserted to hold the headlight housing steady.

Thank you so much for your quick reply... I'm sorry it took me so long to respond; I have been very busy. I will look for these tabs... I bet that's the problem.

It's always the tabs.
