heater control seems to be stuck

Default heater control seems to be stuck

i got a 98 and it has the electronic heater switch wen i hit the button for the a\c and the in or out air button thay flash three times then turn off the blower switch works and the vent switch works but the ac dont turn on and the heat seems to be stuck dose anyone have this problem i was thinking heater core but if i dont have to pull my dash apart if i dont have to

Do you have the fan turned on when pressing the buttons?

It sounds more like an electrical or vaccum problem. Have you checked the fuses or do you hear any noises?

It's weird cause every thing works like it should except the temp control its like the heater core is gone but there is no smell or anything leaking in the cab but wen I go to turn on the a/c the compressor dose not turn on I was talking to my dads buddies in his car club and the only thing thay could suggest was the forum and that it is most likely the computer control he said sell it but I don't see that happinin
