2000 gmc jimmy 4x4 4-door. I got 8000k HIDs with the 55 watt power series ballast and the hid relay wire harness from hidextra.com.

Today I noticed my passenger side hid was on with my DRL's.
I modded the Auto headlights with the 2.2k ohm 1/2 watt resistor in the sensor. Quad beam by grounding the yellow without the black stripe wire on the driver side.
Do I simply need to disable my DRLs?
And if so I thought I read somewhere that doing all 3 of these mods togeather causes something to mess up or not work?
Plus does anyone know what would cause the hid to come on with the DRLs?

 

Ok update, im trying to disable the DRLs, I tried to pull the relay (didn't work), tried to bend pin #86 (didn't work), then I tried to bend all but #87a and #30 (didn't work). Well I guess I shouldn't say it didn't work as it made so my lows are my DRLs.
Im aware i can just do the hit the dome overide button 4-5 times and read that it doesnt work on canadian models. And it does work on mine, but I want a permanent disable.

 

what about pushing the parking brake in a couple clicks?
