Default HID'S and daylight running lights

I installed the hi-beam HID's today in my 99 blazer. Now my daylight running lights do not work. I already had the low beam HID's in for quite awhile with no problems.
Any ideas? or is it because the HID's are not capable of running the DRL's

there is not enough current running into the ballast to ignite the bulbs causing the DRLs not to work. i had that happen myself but i lived with it until i disabled the DRLs.

Yeah DRL's are just hi-beam at half power, HID's need full power to start the arc.

Isn't there a fuse for the DRL's? Just pull that out. I think that's how you disable it...

there is a relay but that wont work. That will disable one of the high beams too. If you do a search you can find how to do.

i know on my 2004 there isn't a fuse for just the drls. its a tab on a larger fuse in the engine bay. this is what i followed when i went to do mine.
