Default High output bulb question

Hey, i recently purchased some high output xenon headlights from ebay and i am very pleased with them so far. I was reading the manual the headlights came with and it reccomends that you upgrade your wiring to a plug and play, more heat resistant wire. Does anyone know if this is just reccomended or necessary with these type of bulbs? Thanks.

Just build your own harness with a couple relays and heavy gauge wire. Costs about 10 bucks to make, and once done you will have the full 14 volts from your although going to your lights.
