My vanity mirror covers are broken (Both) on my '99 Blazer. Now I'm wondering wether to buy them on ebay or just disconnect the light on them as they stay on. Either way how do I do both? (I'd actually just prefer disconnecting the lights seeing as I dont even use the mirrors anytime of the day lol)

If you remove the 3 screws and drop the visor a bit you can unplug them from there to prevent the battery to go dead.

No way to remove the mirror, its molded into the plastic that makes up the visor. If you don't want mirrors you can find a base model s-series without the mirrors and swap the visors.

On my planet you can carefully pop out the little light covers to access the bulbs. the clear cover has to small tabs at the opposite top and bottom cover. Careful. The mirror holder is held in by clip lots at top and bottom push up and pop the top out first. I repaired the cover by gluing in pieces of coat hander I cut and ground down them working the hinge clip back over it. The previous owner broke two of the bulbs and I am looking for replacements. Go slow. never give up. It appears they never expected anyone to repair the things when they built them.
