hello all,

new to the forum, but not new to forums.

i have a 2004 4DR 4x4 4.3L Blazer.
I need to replace the battery. How do I do so? I removed the connections easily enough, but could not lift the battery up and out. do i need to remove the bolt between the washer fluid tank and the battery to do so? thank you in advance?

there's a little tooth that holds the battery to the tray. a black plastic wedge looking guy i believe... sits on the tray on the firewall side i believe...

haven't moved mine in a minute though so i dont remember 100% :/

 

yeah that bolt between the battery and coolant reservoir comes out and lets you remove the little black piece ABN31B mentioned.
