Interior light wont turn on
#1
I just purchased a 2001 blazer zr2 with 41000 miles (amazingly low), in very good condition. The only problem is that the interior lights will not turn on. Ive tried everything I could think of to get them to go on but they wont. I dont think its very likely that all the lights burned out. The outside temp gauge works and thats in the same console as the lights so i do not know what would be wrong. I tried switching fuses with no luck. Also tried it with doors open/closed and nothing happened. Messed with the dome override ****/buttons and they did nothing to the lights. Does anyone know what I may be missing?

Have the same problem with my interior lights. Dome, map, vanity lights do not work. Replaced fuse, no help. Played with Dome Override and it occasional makes a chime noise but no luck getting interior lights working? Temp/Compass work fine as well as the rest of the electrical, with the exception of the Air Bag light which is on. Previous owner said it was because a spring was loose?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.!!
Thanks!

Try the #8 Fuse inside the drivers door fuse panel.
It controls the Low Circuit Power so if for any reason it senses that there is something that will draw power regardless of engine being on or off it will pop the 10a fuse...
This also controls the 4x4 selector switch. The buttons themselves on the switch will illuminate however the Tcase indicator light (orange light indicating what mode Tcase is in) will reappear and the 4x4 will fully function incase you also have that problem simutaniously with the interior/dome lights
