Ok so on my 97 Jimmy 4.3 a couple years back I stupidly put the power wire that goes to the back of the alternator to ground instead and fried the fusible link. I replaced the link and she ran great for about a year and then one day the new link burned out again. I replaced it again right away considering it happened to me in the middle of a busy intersection. Again ran fine for up until about 2 months ago when it blew a 3rd time. So I replaced it with a max fuse thinking the reason it blew again was because it wasn't the right gauge or length but now it just keeps blowing that fuse within anywhere from 10 minutes to a day. I'm thinking I have a short to ground somewhere else in the circuit?????? Can anyone help me out with this issue??????? Running out of ideas here.
