Leaving rear glass open on 01 Jimmy kills battery
The interior lights are overridden and off, so its just the security feature that I can tell is pulling on the battery. But if left open for a day or so, it drains the battery.
Is there a way to avoid this? I didnt see a fuse to pull and with the interior lights off, I see no reason to kill the battery to have the back open.
any ideas and help are appreciated!

If there are no lights on then it must keep the BCM awake and creates a parasitic draw. There are 4 fuses that feed power to the BCM. I believe that the TBC fuse in the UHFB is the main power. You could try pulling that fuse to see if the problem stops.

The rear hatch is electric, which is whats doing it. If the batterys off theres no way to open the glass! The fuse situation you describe is over my head so Ill just leave it alone. I have bigger fish to suddenly fry with an ac blower that wont ever cut off now.
Yes I am aware that the rear glass release is an Electromechanical mechanism but it should not be drawing current except to release the glass. Ill stand down since it sounds like youre not focusing on this right now. Are you asking for help with your blower motor?

Well I wonder if this electrical bug is the cause of this too? My ac blower stays on after the keys left the ignition. The ac controls do nothing. Im having to disconnect a very hot battery quickly or else it drains the battery. I have an optimum yellow top, which I think is great but something else is going on.
I was trying to figure out what to do, when it suddenly stopped, as it began. I think it may do it again though so your suggestions are highly appreciated. Thats a sticky situation. And that engine bay gets HOT on days like today.
