Default Lost power to window and brakes simultaneously

When putting in park yesterday, brakes went soft and then drivers window wouldn't work. All was good leading up to that. Have heard of shortages in steering column, possibly causing issues. 98 Blazer

Electrical issues have nothing to do with the brakes. Brakes work on mechanical and pneumatic only aside from the ABS system. The brakes will even work without vacuum though the pedal will be very stiff.

I don't have a clue what your problem is with either, but for the window try pulling up on it and try it again. Brakes? Check your fluid level.
