Default Main wire harness

Ok so about a month ago a dog ran a woodchuck up into my 98 chevy blazers engine and then the dog proceeded to tear my wiring harness from the passenger side front wheel well area to shreds. My question is...how am I gonna fix this problem? Can I splice the wires back together so my truck runs again? Or am I gonna have to get a whole new wiring harness? And if I can put the wires back together, where do I go to find the correct wire diagram for my blazer? Its a 4.3 6 cyl. Vortec engine. 4 wheel drive. My truck doesnt start, and had to disconnect the battery because the lights were going on and off and the buzzer was going off and on, and so was my horn. Please help me!! I have never dealt with something like this in my 43 years on this planet!

The definitive source for wiring diagrams would be a GM service manual. I have one for my 99 and it comes in three volumes. You can sometimes find them on eBay as the original hard-copies or perhaps CDs.

The other option would be to find a similar vehicle, year and options, at a wrecking yard and take the part of its wiring loom you need.
