Cool Map light bulb in socket help

Ok, so I twisted the socket with the bulb in it out of the map light housing. I am having trouble getting the bulb out of the socket? Is there any special way to do this? I don't want to break the socket in any way. Any help is appreciated. I just need to get the bulb out of the socket and I'm having a little trouble.

Default

I have a pair of right angle needle nose pliers that have rubber grips on the ends. These work great for removing bulbs from stubborn sockets.
