i have a set of mesh lights i put in my floorboard of my zr2 blazer. i do not like the fact that they plug into the cigarette lighter and that i have to push the button to turn them on. i would like to have them turn on when i open the doors. where do i splice these wires to so that this can work?

 

The quickest and easiest way is to find where the dome light switch wiring comes through the door into the cab of the truck. Once you have those wires found, figure out which is hot and which is interupted when you open/close the door. That will be the wire for you to tap into.
