Default Need help with factory remote entry in my 92 jimmy

Ok so I have a 92 Jimmy with power locks and I want remote entry, but I wasnt sure if my truck had it. I purchased a used gm factory remote from another 92 Jimmy and tried to program it to work in mine. The instructions said to get a fused link and insert it into the said slot of the port under the steering column area. The slot I needed to insert the fused wire into had nothing in it while the other slots had wires running to them which led me to believe that was where the wire would run if I had remote entry, but I dont have it :/ Is there anything I can do to install a factory style remote entry in my truck so I can program and use the remote I bought?
