New 1996 Chevy blazer, turn signals malfunctioning; please help.
Hello
My blinkers have stopped working and I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, my hazards work, the green arrows on my dash light up and the lights blink outside also with the hazards & every once and a while when I hit the turn signal an arrow will come up and the lights will blink outside for about 4 or 5 seconds then disappear completely as well as the clicking you hear when you use the turn signals, when I hit the turn switch again I hear one click and that's all.
I'm really hoping this is an easy fix, any help would be GREATLY appreciated
Thank you all in advance.

You could have a failed turn signal flasher module. The hazard flasher is separate.
You could also have a blown bulb or two. The hazard flasher is not load dependent while the flasher for the turn signals is.
It could also be a problem inside the multifunction switch like so many have experienced. If you rapidly turn on and off the hazards, does the problem change?

also what do you mean by the hazzard is not load dependent while the turn signal flasher is?
btw how long have you been a firefighter? I'm currently going to school for my degree in fire science.
