I don't think the cage covers count as covers. and yea in order for them to pass inspection they have to be covered... they are not dot approved. I think if they wouldn't have been turned on I wouldn't have gotten pulled over. I mean if they are off usually you drive by to fast for the cop to notice they aren't covered. I don't see why they are illegal thou. Its just like having your high beams on, and I use them for high beams since my HIDs are brighter than my high beams

Yep... they gotta be fully covered when on a public road... day or night. At least that's the law here in Texas (and probably most other states).
At least you got off with a warning! lol

yea... he didn't say anything about the ones on the bull bar. I'm guessing he thought they were driving lights. I see you have all 6 of yours covered.

Thanks for your nice replys!
Yeah i like the basket my self.
The original are not equipt with all the
points for lightning.
So I designed the rack, sent it to
www.moosermetall.se.
A few phonecalls and here it is one
week later.

4 headlamps, 2 worklamps, 2 beacons,
8 Led warninglights, 4 antenna points.

Still there is more work.
All the wires and electrics.

I will post videos and more
pictures during the work if you guys
want to see it.

Looks like **** in the garage, yeah i know...
But still, now every cable is drawn and all the electrics are set.

The only thing remaining are the 21mm3 cable from the controlbox to the battery.

Surely i will post some picture when everything is set.
I will even show you the siren, soundhorn, worklight, hamradio IC2820 and more.
